SkyQ
A TV Platform which integrates software, hardware, industrial design and brand into a unified experience — broadcast centric at its core, but expanding existing mental models to deliver a highly personalised experience across multiple touch points.
Sky used to be innovators in the TV space, but had fallen behind in an ever increasing competitive market — The new TV platform would reclaim Sky’s status as market leader.
In the 12 months I worked on the project, I spearheaded the effort to define a UXD strategy, bringing internal teams together around a shared vision and hired a team of designers. By the time I left, the product definition, design foundation and a brilliant team was in place. SkyQ finally launched in 2016.
